Robustel R2110 5G RedCap Industrial Router
The Robustel R2110 5G RedCap is a rugged industrial router designed for demanding IoT/M2M applications, vehicle fleets (in-vehicle), and smart city infrastructure. It utilises state-of-the-art 5G RedCap (3GPP Release 17) technology, which brings key benefits of 5G networks, such as high security, low latency, and long-term sustainability, with significantly lower power consumption and at a fraction of the cost of standard 5G routers. Thanks to Dual-SIM support, Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi, and an integrated GNSS receiver, it represents a reliable solution for stable connectivity anywhere in the field.
5G RedCap Technology for Industrial Applications5G RedCap (Reduced Capability / NR-Light) technology represents the ideal middle ground for industrial applications. It provides stable transmission speeds and native access to the 5G core (5GC), including the latest security standards. All this while maintaining low power consumption and lower acquisition costs compared to full 5G NR. If necessary, the router automatically falls back to a backup 4G/LTE network.

The powerful 5G RedCap uplink easily handles the simultaneous real-time transmission of telematics, camera recordings, payment terminals, and remote diagnostics.
- Temporary Connectivity for Projects and Construction Sites: At construction sites or mining operations where fixed infrastructure is lacking, the device functions as a reliable primary router. For local equipment connection, it offers four Gigabit LAN ports and dual-band Wi-Fi with wide coverage of the entire area.
- Backhaul for Camera Systems (CCTV): In locations with independently powered IP cameras and NVR recorders, the router ensures high-throughput mobile transmission of video streams to a monitoring centre. Furthermore, the RCMS cloud platform enables complete remote management and router reboots without the need to physically send a technician to the site.
Uninterrupted Operation with Dual-SIM Failover
The R2110 5G RedCap offers maximum network reliability thanks to advanced link backup (WWAN, WAN, WLAN). It supports fast failover configuration (cold/warm failover), load balancing, and Dual-SIM technology with Smart Roaming. If the primary connection fails, the router instantly redirects traffic to the backup link.

RobustOS Operating System and RCMS
The router runs on the stable RobustOS operating system (based on Linux), which offers security options (IPsec, OpenVPN, GRE, WireGuard) and support for custom programming in C/C++. Thanks to the RCMS (Robustel Cloud Manager Service) cloud platform, you can remotely manage, configure, and update thousands of devices simultaneously from a single, clear interface.
