Compact Gateway Robustel R1320LGe
The Robustel R1320LGe is a compact industrial LoRaWAN gateway designed for reliable, high-capacity packet aggregation. It collects data from LoRaWAN end nodes across the EU868, AU915, US915, and AS923 frequency plans and forwards it to any compatible LNS server using standard protocols. Both on-premise and cloud platforms, such as ChirpStack, The Things Network, LORIOT, and Actility, are fully supported.
Typical Use Cases
- Smart Metering: LoRaWAN enables efficient data collection from water, gas, and heat meters without the need to pay for cellular connectivity for each end device.
- Smart Cities and IoT: For geographically dispersed Smart City sensors where individual cellular connections would be uneconomical, the R1320LGe gateway provides an ideal solution for wide-area LoRaWAN coverage. The device collects data from nodes and sends it to the city's LNS via 4G or Ethernet, while its miniature size and weight of under 230 g allow it to easily fit into any communication cabinet.
- Smart Building Management: Autonomous LoRaWAN sensors are commonly deployed today to monitor elevator machine rooms, pumping stations, fire systems, and sub-metering. Thanks to the RCMS cloud platform, technical building management has an immediate, remote overview of the status and configuration of the gateways, eliminating the need for on-site service visits.
8-Channel LoRa
The device receives data simultaneously across 8 LoRaWAN channels with a transmit power of +25 dBm and a receiver sensitivity of −140 dBm for reliable coverage in typical indoor and light commercial environments.
Backhaul Options
Support for 4G LTE Cat 4 cellular networks, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) ensures uninterrupted connectivity at any location.
Advanced Management via eSIM
The integrated MFF2 eSIM with GSMA SGP.22 standard support enables remote downloading and management of up to 8 operator profiles, eliminating the logistical hassle of physical SIM cards.
Power over Ethernet (PoE-PD 802.3at)
The ETH0 port supports Power over Ethernet, simplifying installation in distribution cabinets and locations with limited access to electrical outlets.
RobustOS Pro Operating System
RobustOS is an operating system built on a Linux kernel. It is designed specifically for industrial devices, ensuring maximum stability, advanced packet forwarding features, and a high level of network security. Additionally, thanks to a full Software Development Kit (SDK), it enables the easy development and integration of custom user applications.
RCMS Remote Management
Full integration with the Robustel Cloud Manager Service (RCMS) platform enables real-time monitoring of the entire device fleet, bulk firmware updates, and remote troubleshooting without the need for a technician dispatch.
