Industrial LTE router Advantech ICR-2631
The ICR-2631 industrial router is designed for reliable communication in LTE Cat.4 cellular networks. This technology enables high data transfer speeds of up to 150 Mbps for downlink and 50 Mbps for uplink.
Connectivity and serial interfaces
- Versatile Ethernet Ports: The device features four Ethernet ports, structured as three switched ports (ETH0) and one independent port (ETH1).
- Customizable Network Topology: All interfaces can be individually configured as either LAN or WAN, providing maximum flexibility for network setup.
- Legacy Equipment Support: Integrated RS232 and RS485 serial interfaces allow for the seamless connection of older industrial hardware to modern networks.
- Digital I/O Connectivity: Includes one digital input (1× DI) and one digital output (1× DO) to facilitate straightforward automation and real-time status monitoring.
Diagnostics and advanced security
The router emphasises security and connection stability. It supports encrypted VPN tunnels using a wide range of standardised protocols. To ensure uninterrupted operation without manual intervention, it includes diagnostic features such as automatic connectivity monitoring, automatic reboot functionality, and a hardware watchdog that continuously supervises system status.

The device is housed in a durable metal chassis with IP30 protection and is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions ranging from –40 °C to +75 °C.
