Teltonika TRB501 Gateway
The Teltonika TRB501 is a gateway with support for 5G mobile networks, offering speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps. One of its key advantages is the Ethernet interface and two configurable I/O ports, which allow for easy integration into industrial systems. The gateway also ensures reliable connectivity to 4G LTE CAT 19 and 3G networks. It supports both SA (Standalone Architecture) and NSA (Non-Standalone Architecture) for full utilization of 5G infrastructure. The main difference between NSA and SA is that NSA relies on 4G radio access network elements, while SA connects 5G devices directly to the 5G core network, with signaling completely independent of 4G.
The device is equipped with four SMA antenna connectors and a power connector. It also includes a SIM slot and an RJ45 Ethernet port supporting 10/100/1000/2500 Mbps.
Data security is ensured by a wide range of software features, including SMS control, firewall, OpenVPN, IPSec, and RMS. Supported network protocols include TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, ICMP, NTP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP(S), FTP, SMTP, SSL/TLS, ARP, VRRP, PPP, PPPoE, UPNP, SSH, DHCP, Telnet, SMPP, SNMP, MQTT, Wake On Lan (WOL), and VXLAN.
Teltonika TRB501 is ready for industrial IIoT applications thanks to its support for Modbus, DNP3, and DLMS protocols, enabling seamless integration into SCADA systems, smart grids, and telemetry solutions.
The industrial gateway runs on RutOS – an operating system based on OpenWRT Linux, which is a major advantage when choosing Teltonika routers. RutOS offers advanced security features and full compatibility with the Remote Management System (RMS).
