Teltonika RUTM55 is a compact industrial mobile 5G router designed for demanding environments. This advanced router delivers 5G connectivity with ultra-high speeds of up to 3.4 Gb/s and ensures reliable connection even under extreme conditions.
Connectivity options and interfaces
The RUTM55 offers versatile connectivity options and is equipped with 4× Gigabit Ethernet ports (3× Gigabit LAN and 1× Gigabit WAN) and Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11b/g/n/ac Wave 2). For maximum operational reliability, it features two SIM card slots and supports up to 7 eSIM profiles with automatic backup switching in case of failure.
The router allows connection of legacy devices via RS232/RS485 interfaces. In addition, it offers GNSS technology (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS), digital I/O, and serial ports.
Thanks to the 3-pin power input, the RUTM55 is adapted for industrial use. Its robust construction withstands demanding operating conditions, vibrations, and extreme temperatures. At the same time, the 5G router ensures high reliability and long-term stability even during continuous operation.
Support for 5G SA and NSA Architectures
RUTM56 is compatible with both SA (Standalone Architecture) and NSA (Non-Standalone Architecture) 5G infrastructures, ensuring high-speed and reliable connectivity. The main difference is that NSA uses elements of the 4G radio access network, while SA connects 5G devices directly to the 5G core network, with signaling independent of 4G.
Advanced Security and Network Protocols
A wide range of software functions, including SMS control, firewall, OpenVPN, IPSec, and RMS provides data security on this router. Supported network protocols include TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, ICMP, NTP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP, FTP, SMTP, SSL/TLS, ARP, VRRP, PPP, PPPoE, UPNP, SSH, DHCP, Telnet, SMPP, SNMP, MQTT and Wake On Lan (WOL).
RutOS Operating System and Remote Management
The industrial gateway Teltonika RUTM51 is equipped with the RutOS system. It is an operating system based on Linux OpenWRT, supporting industrial protocols and various VPN networks. This system offers advanced security features and compatibility with the RMS remote management platform, making it a strong advantage when choosing Teltonika routers.
