Built-in cellular module CALYX 4G Raspberry Pi HAT+
Teltonika CALYX 4G is a compact mobile module (HAT+) designed for seamless integration with Raspberry Pi 4 and 5. It is an ideal solution for projects where Wi Fi or Ethernet is unavailable, unreliable, or where globally stable backup connectivity is needed.
Design and installation
The module is mounted directly onto the Raspberry Pi using the 40-pin GPIO header and forms a unified physical unit with the board, replacing cable clutter with an elegant, compact design. It features two SMA male antenna connectors.
Connection reliability
This 4G Cat 4 version with fallback to 3G and 2G provides wide coverage and a reliable signal for applications with low to medium data throughput that do not require 5G capacity.
Low profile and durability
Its low-profile form factor saves valuable installation space and eliminates the need for bulky external modems, ensuring robust and resilient connectivity for critical tasks. With an operating temperature range from - 40 °C to +75 °C, it is ideal for outdoor installations and industrial environments.
Power and data
Power supply and high-speed data transfer are provided via modern USB-C or via the GPIO interface (40-PIN), which supplies the module with a stable 5 V / 3.3 V DC voltage.
GPIO management
Advanced management of Raspberry Pi GPIO pins enables remote modem control. This allows you to restart, wake or completely power the module off and on remotely, ensuring maximum network availability even in critical and inaccessible applications.
PCM audio
Integrated PCM audio support enables clean low-latency audio transmission, which is ideal for applications requiring high-quality voice communication.
