Telit Cinterion PLS83-EP-R2.2
The Cinterion PLS83-EP-R2.2 is a wireless 4G module from Telit Cinterion, providing connectivity with 2G and 3G fallback. It supports 18 LTE Cat.4 bands, 8 3G UMTS/WCDMA bands, and Quad-Band GSM, offering transfer speeds of up to 150 Mbit/s (DL) and 50 Mbit/s (UL).
It is ideal for demanding industrial IoT applications that require high speed and optimal coverage, such as global tracking and tracing, industrial gateways, and transportation solutions. These applications demand high-speed data, long lifecycle, 4G network stability, and continuous coverage in areas where 4G is not yet available.
The PLS83 is part of an agile suite of IoT modules offering LTE Cat.4 or LTE Cat.1 cellular connectivity in both global and regional variants. For every global and regional PLS83 variant, a compatible Cinterion PLS63 LTE Cat.1 module is available, offering MTC (Machine Type Communication) connectivity for applications that prioritise efficiency over high speed and bandwidth.
This specific version (PLS83-EP Rel.2.2) is designed for the Europe and Asia regions.
