The SECTRON BASIC portable charger is a compact device designed for fast and convenient charging of your electric vehicle, whether at home, at a cottage, or in a company.
Thanks to its compact size, it can be easily transported in your car trunk. Simply arrive at a location with a three-phase red CEE 5-pin 400 V / 16 A socket, connect the charger, and start charging immediately!
The SECTRON BASIC charging station is designed for electric vehicles with the most common Type 2 connector (IEC 62196) and provides a maximum charging power of 11 kW.
Delayed start
SECTRON BASIC is equipped with a delayed charging start function (1-hour increments, up to 9 hours), allowing you to delay charging according to your household or company’s power usage or according to high/low electricity tariff periods. This lets you take advantage of cheaper rates or control when charging ends. The charging current can be adjusted based on available input power and vehicle type.
Electricity meter
The charger includes a built-in electricity meter without memory. The meter shows the amount of energy transferred to the vehicle’s battery in real time. However, SECTRON BASIC cannot display the total charged energy after the charger is disconnected from the power source.
Adjustable charging power
The current limit function allows you to adjust the maximum charging power. After connecting to the power grid, the default value of 16 A appears on the left side of the display, which can be adjusted between 6 and 16 A using the AMPS button. In locations with limited electrical capacity or where several appliances share the same circuit breaker, it is recommended to lower the current accordingly.
Display
The OLED display conveniently shows charging current, voltage, current power output, charger temperature, charging time, and the amount of energy delivered to the vehicle.
Temperature sensor
Monitors the charger’s temperature and prevents overheating.
Cable
Three-phase charging cable designed for electric vehicles with a maximum current of 16 A and power output of 11 kW. The EV cable connects a Type 2 plug to a three-phase 400 V socket. It is made of high-quality copper with excellent conductivity and a soft yet strong TPE insulation.
Cable length: 5 meters (measured from control electronics to Type 2 connector).
The IP54 protection rating (compliant with IEC62752 CE standards) ensures resistance to water splashes, allowing outdoor use.
The portable charger comes in a durable nylon carrying bag that protects it during transport or storage. The bag is included in the package and helps save space in your car trunk.

Note: For an 11 kW / 16 A charger, a minimum 20 A circuit breaker is required in the main switchboard. For using a 22 kW / 32 A charger at maximum power, a 40 A circuit breaker is necessary.
