GPS repeater 001
Repeater for signal reception in GPS technologies. An external antenna installed, for example, on the roof of a building receives a signal from GPS satellites in its range. The signal is further repeated by another antenna towards the interior of the building, where the GPS antenna is not able to target the satellite. Instead of the actual position, the receiver always records only the position of the outdoor antenna, so we cannot use the GPS repeater in buildings for navigation purposes as such. It is suitable for placement where there is a weak or no signal, for example in the basement of buildings, garages, etc.
Antenna TX
Directional GPS antenna with dual mounting options - built-in magnet and 3M tape. It operates in the 1575.42 MHz band. In combination with an integrated low noise amplifier (LNA), this active antenna achieves a total gain of up to 40 dBi. Thanks to the protection IP67, it is suitable for outdoor use. The antenna is supplied with two RG174 / U cables with a length of 3 m, with SMA (f) and USB-A connectors.
Antenna RX
Directional GPS mounting antenna operates in the 1575.42 MHz band. In combination with an integrated low noise amplifier (LNA), this active antenna achieves a total gain of up to 38 dBi. Thanks to the protection IP67, it is suitable for outdoor use. The antenna is supplied with an RG58 cable a length of 3 m, with an SMA (m) F pin connector.
Cable specifications RG174 / U:
The cable labeled RG174 / U is a basic variant of a coaxial cable that is compatible with connectors applicable to a cable diameter of 2.8 mm. The characteristic impedance of the cable is 50 Ω. The reduction factor is fixed at 0.66. The operating temperature range is -20 to 80 °C.
It is most often used for creating cable adaptors with connectors such as BNC / FAKRA / FME / MCX / MMCX / N / SMA / SMB / SMP / TNC and others. It is ideal for short and bending stressed connections in measuring and telecommunications technology, for GPS / GSM / WLAN antennas, antenna leads etc.
Cable specifications RG58:
The RG58 coaxial cable is compatible with connectors applicable to a 5 mm cable diameter. It is mainly used for the 0-1 GHz frequency range, it can also be used for higher frequencies, but at the cost of higher attenuation. The characteristic impedance of the cable is 50 Ω. The reduction factor is fixed at 0.66. The operating temperature range is -20 to 75 ° C. This cable is suitable for external WiFi / GPS / GSM antennas. It is also often used for creating cable adaptors with connectors such as BNC / FAKRA / FME / N / SMA / TNC and others.
Connector specifications SMA:
These are high-frequency connectors with screw connection mechanism. The characteristic impedance of the connector is 50 Ohm and the operating frequency range up to 18 GHz. There are two types of SMA connectors, namely SMA and RP-SMA. The connection and disconnection of the connectors is guaranteed for up to 500 cycles. Temperature range is -65 °C to +165 °C. Most of the current cellular routers are equipped with SMA connectors for connecting Wi-Fi / 2G / 3G / LTE / GPS antennas terminated by proticates. It is also used as a standard connector in RF measuring technology. They are characterized by high reliability, durability, high mechanical stability and optimal electrical properties.
