Using the door handle, you can open the front trunk (frunk) or unlock the charging port. Simply extend the handle of the front or rear doors. Commander detects this action and performs the corresponding function. - Automatic door opening when approaching
This feature automatically pops the driver’s door open when you approach the vehicle with your phone set as a key. The sensitivity can be adjusted according to the strength of your phone’s Bluetooth signal. - Disable automatic high beams and wipers
When Autopilot is activated, automatic high beams and wipers are also activated automatically. With the Commander Gen2 unit, you can set these functions not to turn on when Autopilot is engaged. You can still switch the high beams and wipers on manually as needed, exactly when you want. Please note, however, that Autopilot systems require automatic high beams and wipers to function properly. You therefore use the forced disable action at your own risk.

Commander Gen2 is fully compatible with all Tesla models. You only need to choose the correct connection cable according to your vehicle type:
- For Tesla Model 3 and Model Y (2019–2024), we offer a version with rear-installation wiring, designed to be mounted beneath the center console between the seats.
- Owners of Model 3/Y from 2021+ onward, including the new Model 3 Highland, can install the unit in the front section under the dashboard.
- For Tesla Model S and Model X, there is a specially configured version with tailored wiring to accommodate the different internal layouts of these models. It is installed forward in the center console under the main display.
- And we didn’t forget about the brand-new Model Y Juniper, which uses a redesigned connector structure - our dedicated bundle is fully compatible with this update. Installed forward under the dashboard by the passenger door.

Missing a dashboard display behind the steering wheel?
The app also works as a dashboard and can easily replace the instrument cluster behind the steering wheel. All you need is a mobile phone holder, and the app will show you real-time basic data such as current speed, consumption, motor power, and torque. It displays the selected level of regenerative braking and a percentage visualization of accelerator pedal pressure. Colored indicators on the sides and at the bottom show the direction you are indicating or whether the brake lights are on.
