Combined WiFi, GNSS and LTE MIMO antenna
The combined WiFi, GNSS and LTE MIMO antenna is designed for receiving and transmitting signals in GNSS/LTE/WIFI technologies. The antenna reaches up to 28 dB gain when combined with an amplifier. The antenna operates in bands 698‐960/1561‐1602/1710‐2690/2400‐2483.5/4900‐5825 MHz. When MIMO technology is used, the resulting system achieves higher transmission rates, an increase in the signal level and thus better Internet speed.
The antenna can be used in the field of M2M and IoT for connection with cellular modems and routers, as well as, for example, in public transport for GPS localization, communication with the dispatch centre and mediation of Wi-Fi connection for passengers. The antenna is supplied with four 3m RG174 cables terminated with two FAKRA D connectors, one FAKRA C and one FAKRA Z connector. Thanks to the high degree of protection IP67, it is also suitable for outdoor installation. 3M tape ensures easy installation and attachment.
Cable specifications RG174/U:
The cable labelled RG174/U is a much cheaper variant of a coaxial cable that is compatible with connectors applicable to a cable diameter of 2.8 mm. It is mainly used for the frequency range 0 - 1 GHz, it can also be used for higher frequencies, but at the cost of higher attenuation – see the attached attenuation table below. The characteristic impedance of the cable is 50 Ω. The reduction factor is fixed at 0.66. The operating temperature range is -20 to 80 ° C.
It is most often used for creating cable adaptors with connectors such as BNC/FAKRA/FME/MCX/MMCX/N/SMA/SMB/SMP/TNC and others. It is ideal for short and bending stressed connections in measuring and telecommunications technology, for GPS/GSM/WLAN antennas, antenna leads etc.
Connector specifications FAKRA:
Fakra connectors in a plastic housing. These housings are available in 14 different colours for easy identification. The characteristic impedance of the connector is 50 Ohm, the working frequency ranges up to 6 GHz, working temperature is from -40 °C to 105 °C. Fakra connectors are most often used in the automotive industry, for example for connecting antennas, radios, and navigation. They are also widely used in M2M and IoT devices. Connecting and disconnecting Fakra connectors is easy, we guarantee up to 25 cycles.
