Combined WiFi, GNSS and LTE MIMO antenna
The combined WiFi, GNSS and LTE MIMO antenna is designed for receiving and transmitting signals in GNSS/LTE/WIFI technologies. The antenna reaches up to 28 dB gain when combined with an amplifier. The antenna operates in bands 698‐960/1561‐1602/1710‐2690/2400‐2483.5/4900‐5825 MHz. When MIMO technology is used, the resulting system achieves higher transmission rates, an increase in the signal level and thus better Internet speed. The antenna can be used in the field of M2M and IoT for connection with cellular modems and routers, as well as, for example, in public transport for GPS localization, communication with the dispatch centre and mediation of Wi-Fi connection for passengers. The antenna is supplied with four 3m RG174 cables terminated with two SMA(m) connectors and two RP-SMA(f) connectors. Thanks to the high degree of protection IP67, it is also suitable for outdoor installation.
Cable specifications RG174/U:
The cable labelled RG174/U is a much cheaper variant of a coaxial cable that is compatible with connectors applicable to a cable diameter of 2.8 mm. It is mainly used for the frequency range 0 - 1 GHz, it can also be used for higher frequencies, but at the cost of higher attenuation – see the attached attenuation table below. The characteristic impedance of the cable is 50 Ω. The reduction factor is fixed at 0.66. The operating temperature range is -20 to 80 ° C.
It is most often used for creating cable adaptors with connectors such as BNC/FAKRA/FME/MCX/MMCX/N/SMA/SMB/SMP/TNC and others. It is ideal for short and bending stressed connections in measuring and telecommunications technology, for GPS/GSM/WLAN antennas, antenna leads etc.
Connector specifications SMA:
These are high-frequency connectors with screw connection mechanism. The characteristic impedance of the connector is 50 Ohm and the operating frequency range up to 18 GHz. There are two types of SMA connectors, namely SMA and RP-SMA. Most of the current cellular routers are equipped with SMA connectors for connecting Wi-Fi/2G/3G/LTE/GPS antennas terminated by proticates. It is also used as a standard connector in RF measuring technology. They are characterized by high reliability, durability, high mechanical stability and optimal electrical properties
