Industrial router Advantech ICR-2834
The Advantech ICR-2834 rugged cellular router is the successor to the older v2 platform devices. It features a more powerful processor, more storage space for user applications thanks to the installed eMMC memory, and perhaps also more detailed LED indications on the router's front panel.

The device is designed for a wide range of applications, from automation and Industry 4.0 to surveillance systems in transportation and telemetry in energy and utility sectors. It supports remote infrastructure management and secure service access to technologies used in energy and fuel distribution.

Open platform and industrial protocol support
The ICR-2834 runs on the Linux-based ICR-OS operating system and provides users with 1.3 GB of eMMC storage for custom applications. This open platform enables the development of customer-specific applications in Python and C/C++. It also includes an extensive Advantech Router Apps library containing ready-made modules for industrial protocol conversion and direct integration with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Cumulocity.
Rugged design
The router is housed in a compact metal chassis with IP30 protection and is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions ranging from –40 °C to +75 °C.
