Industrial gateway Advantech ICR-1642 for M2M and IoT applications
The ICR-1642 industrial gateway is designed for reliable wireless communication, enabling seamless connectivity of IP devices as well as serial interfaces to cellular networks. Thanks to LTE Cat.4 technology (with 3G/2G fallback), the router delivers high data transfer speeds of up to 150 Mbps (download) and 50 Mbps (upload).

A hardware watchdog continuously supervises the overall device status.
ICR-OS operating system and expandability
The router runs on the Linux-based ICR-OS operating system. This open platform enables developers to create custom software applications in C/C++. Standard firmware functionality can be easily extended using the freely available RouterApps library, which includes pre-developed applications designed to enhance specific router functions in industrial environments.
Robust hardware and easy installation
The device is housed in a durable metal enclosure with IP30 protection and is designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions ranging from –40 °C to +75 °C. Thanks to its compact dimensions and integrated mounting brackets for DIN rail or wall installation, it easily fits even into small control cabinet spaces.
