The SECTRON START 2 portable charging station, the successor to the popular SECTRON START charging station, is the ideal solution for owners and users of electric vehicles who want flexible and convenient charging of their car at home, at work and on the go at a reasonable price.This portable charger provides flexible and convenient charging. Thanks to its compact design, it can be easily transported in the trunk of a car. It can be connected wherever there is a three-phase five-pin red 400 V 16 A (CEE 5-pin 400 V 16 A) electrical outlet. The device is intended for charging vehicles with a TYPE 2 connector (IEC 62196) and offers a maximum output of 11 kW. Moreover, it can be easily attached to the wall using the included bracket, which makes it easier to use. The portable charging station is equipped with a robust chassis with an IP66 degree of protection, which ensures protection against dust and water, which allows it to be used even in outdoor conditions. Simply connect the SECTRON START 2 charger to the network and start charging your electric car immediately.
Delayed start of charging
The portable charger is equipped with a delayed start function, thanks to which you can delay the start of charging according to the current consumption of the household/company or according to the low/high tariff, thereby take advantage of the cheaper rates of the low tariff or influence the end time of charging of your vehicle. The delayed start is set manually in steps of 60 minutes in the range from 0 to 12 hours.
Setting the charging current limitation
The charging current is adjustable in steps in the range from 8/10/13/16 A. You can thus manually limit the charging power according to the parameters of the circuit breaker or the situation in a specific object. A portable charger is not able to dynamically control the charging process in relation to the whole house as a stationary wallbox with a SmartMeter or a SolarManagement can.
LED Display
The clear round LED display shows clear information for settings and current information during charging itself. It shows the values of the set charging current, device temperature, energy transferred to the vehicle. It also shows the values of voltage and current in individual phases and the total time since the start of charging.
Two touch buttons under the display are used to set the values of the charging current and delayed start.
There is an LED indicator symbol in the lower part of the charger body that indicates the charging process or error states of the charger.
The charger does not remember the values of the charging cycle after disconnecting from the power source. It does not contain a built-in memory. If you need this data to document charging, or for your own statistics, we recommend that you describe the values or take a picture with your mobile phone before disconnecting the charger.
Cable
A three-phase charging cable designed for charging electric vehicles with a maximum current of 16 A and a power output of 11 kW. The EV cable is a type of flexible cable for the connection of an electric vehicle with a Type 2 connector. The cable length is 4 m from the unit, the total length is 5 m.
The portable charging station is packed in a practical bag made of high-strength nylon, which protects the cable from damage during transport or storage. The packed charger also saves space in the trunk of the electric car.
